Many festival-goers are surprised to know that that the City of Asheville restricts pets from being present at outdoor special events. Due to public safety and health guidelines, events must restrict attendees from bringing pets and animals into an event.

This is Asheville, so above all, dress comfortable and consider sunscreen and hats. The festival is outdoors, so from jeans to shorts is appropriate. The Sweet & Sour Event takes place Saturday afternoon so casual dress is suitable and do wear comfortable shoes.

We encourage all vendors to provide smalll plates and tastings of beverages. You may purchase wines by the glass for enjoyment at the festival. Purchases of full bottles and cases of wines or beverages may be taken to the "Wine Storage" area but we suggest taking your purchases to your lodging facility or automobile until after the festival. We encourage you to purchase locally produced Wines and Gourmet Artisan Foods (prepackaged items) that are on sale during the Festival. You can purchase directly from the vendors and most accept credit cards.

For Wine purchases and large wine orders, you can buy directly from the vendors, and we suggest you take those items to the "Wine Storage" area and to pickup those items at the end of you fun. You must pick up all items prior to the end of the festival each day.
