The Grand Tasting, held August 24, 2013 at the US Cellular Center in downton Asheville, saw a crowd of several thousand people. It was indeed a grand tasting of wines, food from local restaurants and artisan food producers, plus area breweries, and regional distilleries. The Grand Tasting is the largest event of its kind in Western North Carolina and offers a sampling of Asheville's food scene all in one place. Chef Daniel Wright and his team from Tomato Jam Cafe were awarded the winners of the FRS Chefs Challenge Finale. Thanks to all of our sponsors, including our title sponsor EDISON at The Grove Park Inn, participants and vendors, and to all who came and helped make this an awesome celebration of food and drink!
