The Asheville Wine & Food Festival is a culinary weekend of food, drink, and fun. This year we will be outside in the sun at Pack Square Park, in the center of downtown Asheville just steps from all the vibrant shops, restaurants, and South Slope breweries.

In 2017, Asheville has been ranked as number one on the list of “New Top Cities for Wine in the United States” designated by The Travel Channel. The 2016 Asheville Wine & Food Festival was named a Top 20 Event by the Southeast Tourism Society. TripAdvisor, in the “The Travelers’ Choice® Food and Wine Destinations Awards”, placed Asheville right up there with New York City, San Francisco, New Orleans and Chicago. Southern Living has listed Asheville among the “Tastiest Towns in the South.”

The Asheville Wine & Food Festival brings together the finest regional, national, and international wines, exceptional restaurants, craft beer, spirits, and handcrafted artisanal foods for a weekend of palate-pleasing indulgence where festival goers will find a treasure of independent, farm-to- table restaurants and a colorful street performer on every corner. Join us on Friday August 18 & Saturday August 19, 2017 for two solid days of culinary adventure.

Come out and enjoy the festivities on Friday starting at 12:00 and enjoy the music and meet Christopher Prieto, a celebrity BBQ Pitmaster, while enjoying wines, spirits, beer and food from local award winning chefs. On Saturday, starting at 11:00, be prepared to spend all day sipping, tasting and meeting the winemakers, chefs, culinary authors, while watching gifted chefs share their secrets about great Asheville food. Then, if that is not enough, late Saturday afternoon, enjoy “Sweet & Savory” at the Renaissance Ballrooms and Atrium, as we bring together sweet desserts, savory restaurant dishes, and great wines for pairing from 4:00 -7:00 PM.
